Problematic PC Motherboards

There are too many PC motherboards and chipsets introduced into the market for us to test all of them. Based on our testing and feedback from our customers, the vast majority of PC motherboards are 100% compatible with all of our products. We do test motherboards in house to assure compatibility with the most popular chipsets that are available.

This is a list of motherboards that we have tested and found to be incompatible. We do not recommend these motherboards for use with Echo PCI products.

Compatible Motherboard and Chipset Survey

We are compiling a list of newer motherboards and chipsets that work with our products. If you would like to contribute to this list, please email: info@echoaudio.com and put in the subject line: Compatible motherboard survey. Please list:

1) the name of your motherboard

2) the name of your chipset

3) the Echo product you are using

4) how long you have had this configuration

If you are using an AudioFire product, please also include:

1) the FireWire chipset you are using

2) whether the FireWire is built-in or if it is a third-party PCI, PCMCIA or ExpressCard

3) if applicable, the brand of the third-party FireWire card.
