Universal PCI Card - Now works with Power Mac G5!!

When designing the Power Mac G5, Apple chose to provide the PCI slots with 3.3 volt power only. Previously, PowerMac and PC motherboards provided 5 volt power to PCI cards. That is why most PCI cards, including our Echo24 line of products, didn't work with the new Power Mac G5. That is until now...

In January 2004 we started shipping Layla24 and in April 2004 we started shipping MiaMIDI with a new universal PCI card that works with both 3.3 volt and 5 volt systems, including the new Power Mac G5. This new universal PCI card works in PCI-X slots as well as the normal PCI slots, and is suitable for use in both Mac and PC systems that require 3.3 volt PCI or PCI-X cards.

If you are in a store and want to make sure you're buying a universal PCI card version of Layla24 or MiaMIDI, then make sure there is a sticker on the box that says the folowing:
